In order to achieve the maximum range should be two discs as high as possible and announce anything in the signal path path. They longer range that the car manufacturer will be happy .... To help high mpg claims the products are sold. If you are in the GMRS band and go through a repeater, you can see, in the range of 17 miles. The frequency of these stations to dictate what is known as a "line of sight distance at work. It just means that the highest ranking clear that the radio" Radio "have needs at the sight of others. With the low energy in these devices and UHF frequencies is necessary to adjust the height as a friend to have to learn to speak. We hope some of that support.
"Radius of Action provides increased up to 17 miles range. (The range may vary) depending on terrain and conditions." Taken directly from the website of Cobra
Good luck,
Mike
